Conveyor Belt Services was set up in 1983. It is now owned and run by Clarrie Williams and his wife Robyn.

Clarrie has many years’ experience in conveyor belts. He started out working for Skellerup, the only New Zealand conveyor belt manufacturer. It was there he gained valuable experience and knowledge in the area of fit for purpose belt manufacture. Then in 1995 he moved to Conveyor Belt Services as a manager. In 2007 he bought the business.

He works with a group of highly professional employees, including manager Brett Hooper who has several mechanical and maintenance fitter qualifications. And Gerard Norton who has been working in belting and rubber fabrication for over 30 years.

Altogether the five-strong team has over 60 years’ experience in all aspects of conveyor belt installation and maintenance.
